Instruction

District 230 supports the academic achievement of all students at the highest level. Our curriculum work includes:

  • Identifying essential learning targets
  • Aligning with Common Core standards
  • Developing common formative and summative assessments
  • Demonstrating best practice teaching strategies
  • Training staff for new materials, new units and assessment development and use

Aligned curriculum and instruction with common embedded assessments is our long-range improvement plan for the district.
