First Session: June 7th - June 28th
Monday - Thursday
No school on June 19th
$400 year long | $200 semester course
Payment due by March 15, 2023

Second Session: July 5th - July 25th
Monday - Thursday
$200 semester course
Payment due by June 9

Course Offerings

  • English: 9, 10, 11, 12
  • Math: 1, 2, 3, Consumer Math
  • Social Studies: Government, US History
  • Other: Consumer Economics, Health, Biology

Expectations

  • If the student is on pace/progressing/passing, they can continue their course online at their own pace.
  • If the student is NOT on pace/progressing/passing, the student must then attend in-person sessions in the Help Center at Sandburg High School. Transportation will not be provided.

Credits Allowed

  • Students can take 0.5 credits per session (1.0 credit total). 
  • Students with extenuating circumstances and requesting more credit must meet with and receive permission from the Summer School Coordinator prior to registration. 

Fee Structure for Credit Recovery

  • Semester-long course: $200
  • Year-long course: $400
  • Courses beginning June 07, payment is due March 15, otherwise dropped from the roster
  • Courses beginning June 28, payment due June 9 otherwise dropped from the roster
  • Students needing Financial Assistance should contact their school counselor.

How to Register for Credit Recovery Courses

  • Guidance Counselors will register the student for credit recovery courses the student needs to complete.  Once the course is added, a fee will be generated through the parent portal of the Skyward Family Access account.  Summer school fees can be paid through RevTrak.  Fees for summer school courses must be paid by March 15th, 2023.  For families in need of financial assistance with credit recovery courses, please contact your guidance counselor for more information.
  • Required face-to-face meeting on day 1 & 2 of each session (6/7 & 6/8; 7/5 & 7/6)  
    • It can be on-campus or virtual.
    • Communication will occur with the teacher.
